In early 2025, Bodewell (a GE Appliances brand) launched their first line of detergents with an ambitious two-month timeline from concept to market. This fast-paced, cross-functional effort brought together design, engineering, and marketing in a collaborative sprint. Within weeks, we developed the strategy, product visuals, and packaging, while aligning with manufacturing and e-commerce teams to ensure a seamless rollout. The successful product launch reinforced Bodewell’s position as an agile, consumer focused brand.
Role: I led the industrial and graphic design for the project—defining the visual identity, selecting materials and finishes, creating packaging concepts, laying out die lines, and producing final production assets. During initial concept development, I was supported by fellow designer Hannah Paasche. App design by Kelvin Yu.
In 2024, GE Appliances launched the Ecobalance Home Energy Management System. This introduced a suite of ultra-efficient appliances, energy management tools, home battery, and EV charger. I was tasked with creating a series of animations that would illustrate 3 different energy scenarios: Time of Use (cost savings), a Power Outage (blackout), and Demand Response (brown out). I worked closely with animator Guillaume Kurkdjian and sound designer Bureau Sonore to produce these animations for GE Appliances. The entire project was completed in less than two months.
Role: I directed this project and created the home design & animation storyboards. I hired the animation team and managed them along with the budget and timeline. I worked daily with Guillaume Kurkdjian, an exceptional freelance animator who did all of the 3D visuals, and provided the team with art direction and technical details for the project. Sarah Neff and Abolfazl Ghaderi designed the app screen.
The ACCESS Kit is a set of transparent tactile stickers designed to make thousands of GE Appliances accessible to blind and visually impaired users. Developed in collaboration with the American Printing House for the Blind, this kit includes over 450 stickers that can be easily applied to a wide variety of products to help blind users navigate their appliance interfaces. These clear stickers are placed directly over existing controls—none of the original labels are obscured. In 2024, the ACCESS kit won an IDEA Gold Award for Social Impact.
Role: Over the course of a year, I initiated and led this project with fellow designer Jake Gillespie from initial ideation and research through production and sale. I was responsible for the design, refinement, testing, prototyping and manufacturing of this product. Direction & Logistics: Chris Bissig. Cover design: Emily Shultz. In 2021, MNML Inc. partnered with Cardiosense, a startup leveraging non-invasive sensors and AI to build the next generation of cardiac monitoring. The MNML team was asked to design a new medical device that is placed on the chest and worn by patients outside the hospital. This wearable heart monitor logs data via multiple onboard sensors and provides critical information to doctors previously only available within the hospital setting.
Role: I worked closely with MNML's Design Director Ishmael Adams and Lead Engineer Gary Paulsen to create and develop the housing design. I sketched, 3D modeled, and produced final renders & mockups for this product. In 2022, Cardiosense raised $15.1 million in series A financing.
The Gold Coast Fashion Show is the signature fundraising event of the Children’s Service Board (CSB), an affiliated organization of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. In 2019, the event raised over $1,000,000 in support of the Department of Family Services at Lurie Children’s. MNML partnered with CSB to reimagine the show's branding and overhaul the website for its triumphant return in 2021 (after skipping 2020 due to COVID-19). With its new website and branding, the show went on to raise $3,680,000 in 2021.
Role: I built the show's website in Webflow, with graphic design direction from Michael Brown and Emily Shultz and illustrations by Kristine Steiner.
In 2020, MINIMAL collaborated with SteelSeries to design and develop Alias & Alias Pro, two best-in-class mics designed specifically for streaming. With gaming more popular and more inclusive than ever, our goal was to design a set of mics that met the functional requirements needed by gamers and streamers while still feeling approachable and professional.
Role: I worked with fellow MINIMAL designers Charlie Prescott & Dave Seal throughout the development of these microphones. The three of us sketched, researched, prototyped, and each created CAD & renders across multiple design phases. Charlie produced the final CAD model and PR renders, many of which are shown below.

For the last 20 years, Steelseries has been designing and manufacturing top quality gaming peripherals that improve gamers’ real-time interactive experience. As a company they are dedicated to providing accessories with professional grade quality and simple, modern design. The Apex Mini Pro is no exception. MNML partnered with SteelSeries to set the standard for gaming keyboards.
Role: I led this project at MNML from start to finish, creating concept sketches, 3D models, prototypes, final renders, and technical packages for the keyboard. Throughout the six month project, I worked with MNML intern Maximilian Brueck. Additional design refinement and engineering input were provided by Zeeshan Hakkim and Gary Paulson, respectively.
NI (National Instruments) is an industry-leading technology brand with a proud history of innovation. Engineers around the globe use their test equipment and measurement software to produce many of the products in our daily life. Concurrent with a significant reboot of the brand identity, NI needed a way to communicate their commitment to “Engineer Ambitiously” in a way that customers experience each time they use an NI product. The MNML team worked with NI to develop a new visual brand language used across hundreds of products. In 2023, this work won an IDEA Bronze award for design strategy.
Role: Over the course of a year I developed NI's visual brand language (VBL) with fellow MNML designer Charlie Prescott. I also wrote and laid out NI's 95 page VBL document, creating detailed illustrations for their new interface standards, design elements, and CMF strategy. Research and design guidance were provided by Chris Watson and Dave Seal.
Driven by new safety and sanitation standards created during the COVID-19 pandemic, MNML partnered with SafetySpect to design and develop the CSI-D+, a pioneering AI system that detects, decontaminates and scientifically confirms a surface is clean, all without the use of chemicals. The CSI-D+ gives corporations, governments, and private organizations the peace of mind that their employees and customers are protected.
Role: I worked with MNML's Design Director Ishmael Adams and Director of Engineering Keith Alsberg to design and develop this product. I sketched, prototyped, and 3D modeled the product before producing final renders and documentation for the design. Additional human factors and prototyping assistance provided by Charlie Prescott and Jillian Tackaberry.
In 2020 I teamed up with Daniel Bauen, founder of Engineerable, to design the SOUL BUILT brand logo and product packaging for the Marksmith Titanium EDC Marker.
The first SOUL BUILT product is the Marksmith, a bolt action titanium marker designed for every day carry. Marksmith was successfully funded on Kickstarter in 2020 and delivered to backers in 2021.
The interface below was commissioned by Winston founder Richard Stokes for their product's online dashboard. The speed graph compares different webpage load speeds, with and without the Winston filtering the results. Color is used sparingly to highlight key items, such as tracking requests (orange) and filtered speeds (purple). The graph shows all data generated within the test period, stacking each URL request and its individual load time in the Y axis and their progress in seconds across the X axis. Additional data is located upper left, while information about individual URLs pops up when it is hovered over.
Role: I designed and illustrated the speed test infographic with guidance from Chris Watson, MNML's chief strategist. I also developed the status dashboard, building on brand and design work done by fellow MNML designers Sean Nelson and Zeeshan Hakkim.
In 2019, MNML partnered with Cresco Labs and Kristine Arth to develop a series of new cannabis brands. High Supply is a sub-brand of Cresco Labs and was created to provide quality cannabis, in bulk. These buds are expertly grown, lab-tested and available in popcorn, shake, pre-rolls and vapes. Whether you’re a fan of sativa, indica or hybrid, you’ll always have cannabis on hand with High Supply.
Role: As part of the brand and packaging team at MNML, I spent 8 months executing Kristine's brand vision for High Supply, from initial concept sketches to packaging mock-ups, final renders, and production dielines.
In 2019, Minimal launched the WellBeings brand, a line of premium wellness products that sought to elevate the CBD experience through the convergence of design, technology and natural wellness. WellBeings believes in unlocking a better, healthier future. Naturally.
Role: I served as lead photographer and catalog designer for the Well-Beings brand launch, shooting and editing the entire suite of photos used for the website, packaging, and catalog. I also assisted in the design process, developing the packaging design & copy, label layouts, and marketing materials.
Motis is the world’s first portable window-mounted standing desk. In 2017 MNML fully turn keyed Deskview's brand, flagship product, and successful launch on Kickstarter, which lead to backing by ABC Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary. Motis is the latest iteration, a durable aluminum standing desk that sets up in seconds and holds over 40lbs. The patented technology brings all of the strength and versatility of the original DeskView in an ultra-lightweight 4.5lb design that easily fits into your briefcase, purse, or backpack; so you can Work Your Way, whenever, wherever.
Role: While at MNML, I partnered with Zeeshan Hakkim to design Motis from start to finish. We took the idea from initial sketches through to final CAD and renders with engineering support by Gary Paulson.
In 2019, MNML partnered with Cresco Labs and Kristine Arth to develop a series of new cannabis brands. These brands went on to win two Bronze Clio Awards for marketing excellence. Cresco offers a wide variety of popular cannabis strains, available at dispensaries and retail locations nationwide. Their three core offerings (Rise, Rest, Refresh) come in three primary colors: red, green, and blue. These high quality strains are the foundation of their brand.
Role: As part of the packaging team at MNML, I spent 8 months executing Kristine's brand vision for Cresco, from initial concept sketches to packaging mock-ups, final renders, and production dielines.
Calphalon redesigned their family of appliances in 2018 with a unified aesthetic and improved performance across the range. Their latest oven, the Quartz Heat Countertop Toaster Oven, is designed with an innovative quartz heating element that delivers 40% more heat for even cooking and crispy consistency. It preheats in seconds, saving time and reducing range oven usage. The built-in presets feature all major cooking methods, including a dehydrator mode. The Quartz Heat Countertop is large enough to fit a 12" pizza, and precise enough to roast a whole chicken.
Role: As part of the design team working on the entire product range, my primary contribution was to the Calphalon Quartz Heat Countertop Oven. Under the direction of Ishmael Adams, I sketched, 3D modeled, and rendered multiple versions of this oven, providing direction on the interface layout, handle design, edge treatment, and rack configuration.
The infographic below was commissioned by a prominent medical company to help define their new digital design process. Created as part of an internal push to expand their UI/UX capabilities, this chart highlights how the design team would interact with business, marketing, operations, and engineering teams during the production cycle. By helping to educate existing employees and management, the new design team was able to quickly integrate with the existing teams.

Homebase (The Center for Common Concerns) is a national organization whose mission is to reduce poverty and end homelessness. For over 25 years, they have been the thought leaders in their field, connecting communities and assisting service providers. In addition, Homebase provides 25,000 year-round beds for homeless individuals and families. In 2018, their founder, Marty Fleetwood, asked me to rebrand their organization, including their logo and website.
After connecting Marty with the design team at MNML, I lead this project from start to finish, assisted by Sean Nelson (web design) and Veronica Haglund (graphic design), with strategic support from Emily Tennison. Together, we generated a new Logo and brand guidelines, website, newsletter template, e-signature, letterhead, business cards, merchandise, and more.
In 2017, MNML partnered with TURF to develop a range of modular acoustic ceiling tile designs for the TURF catalog. TURF tiles perfectly blur the lines between cutting edge aesthetics and acoustic performance, radically changing the spaces they live in. Attaching to ubiquitous drop-ceiling T-grids, the three-dimensional magnetic TURF Acoustic Ceiling Tiles, made from recycled PET, allow for endless customization.
Role: I created the Pyramid tile system and worked closely with the MNML team to model and develop the other four systems. I also worked with Tim Zarki, MNML's Visual Lead (2016-18), to produce the final rendered assets for Turf and also helped MNML prepare the IDEA award application that Turf eventually won gold for.
Relay is an LTE walkie talkie for children that allows easy communication between parents and friends without the additional cost and complexity of a smart phone. The device ditches the standard screen in favor of a few simple interactions: Push the center button to talk, hold it to talk to Alexa or Google Assistant, use the three buttons on the side to cycle channels and adjust the volume.
I worked on the development of this product for a year with MNML design director Kyle Buzzard. My primary contributions were selecting the final CMF, creating final renders and tech-packs for manufacture, and working with fellow designer Jilian Tackaberry to create the grill pattern.
Today, increased domestic government surveillance and corporate tracking threaten to undermine many of our fundamental liberties, privacy chief among them. Winston founder Richard Stokes partnered with MNML becuase of a shared passion: We believe that your information is just that: yours, and no one has the right to log your data in secret. Winston works by completely anonymizing your online activity and geo-location, protecting you from unwanted data collection and advertising. Winston is faster and more reliable than a VPN, safeguarding your computer, phone, tablet, and other smart devices by encrypting your browsing and stripping out malicious code before it reaches your wifi.
Role: Over the course of a year at MNML, I developed the brand, industrial design, engineering, and marketing assets of Winston. The housing is based on my sketches, CAD, and renders. Web/brand design and packaging were done by Sean Nelson and Jillian Tackaberry respectively, with additional development by Zeeshan Hakkim, and Charlie Prescott. Engineering by Gary Paulson.
Tyr 3 is a modular prosthetic limb that mimics the layers of the human arm to provide superior comfort, utility, and beauty. It is a three tiered assembly of synthetic skin, muscle forms, and carbon fiber bones that can easily be customized for men, women, and humanoid robots. Tyr 3 is a dynamic platform that offers flexible solutions for the rapidly developing field of prosthetics.
Tyr 3 can be configured to meet a range of price points and capabilities. The arm can be a simple body powered prosthetic with a split hook or a highly advanced bionic arm outfitted with tools, sensors, skin, and a fully articulated hand. Instead of offering a single expensive arm to one demographic, anyone can purchase the core structure and upgrade it over time. It is a platform for companies and individuals to build new and exciting solutions based on their personal needs.
Role: Tyr 3 was my 2016 Senior Project at Drexel University. I spent six months creating a 70 page book detailing every aspect of the arm, as well as a full size articulating prototype.
The Looper Bench is a continuous wooden loop constructed of solid maple. It was designed at Michael Graves Architecture and Design for David Edward.
The Looper Bench was designed to pay homage to one of Michael Graves iconic architectural elements, the keystone, the central component of an arch. Like a keystone, the Looper Bench performs the task of supporting people and objects. The Looper Bench can be extended for a longer bench or shortened for an accompanying accent or coffee table.
Role: While at Michael Graves, I assisted in the development of this furniture series by sketching, 3D modeling, and rendering this bench with direction from MGA&D Principal Donald Strum.

Duplex is a high performance 48-inch indoor ceiling fan that offers chic form and high function. The housing is shrouded in a translucent charcoal gray shell and the metal blade ring features scalloped detailing, adding interest and refinement to the understated design. Slender blade wings gently twist at the base, making it easy to move great volumes of air. Duplex offers six powerful speed options and an LED light kit that offers excellent illumination.
Role: Duplex was designed at Michael Graves Architecture and Design for Fanimation. I sketched, 3D modeled, and rendered this concept with direction from MGA&D Principals Yuka Midorikawa and Donald Strum.
