The Gold Coast Fashion Show is the signature fundraising event of the Children’s Service Board (CSB), an affiliated organization of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. In 2019, the event raised over $1,000,000 in support of the Department of Family Services at Lurie Children’s. MNML partnered with CSB to reimagine the show's branding and overhaul the website for its triumphant return in 2021 (after skipping 2020 due to COVID-19). With its new website and branding, the show went on to raise $3,680,000 in 2021.

Role: I built the show's website in Webflow, with graphic design direction from Michael Brown and Emily Shultz and illustrations by Kristine Steiner.

Website

The Gold Coast Fashion Show website was created to provide event information, drive ticket sales, and capture corporate sponsors for the show. The MNML team designed and executed a new brand vision for 2021, a modern layout with gold accents and fashion illustrations by Kristine Steiner.

Marketing Materials

Getting the word out was a critical part of the campaign leading up to the fashion show. In addition to the website, the MNML team developed print materials to promote the event.

Collateral

Additional assets were created for event badges, show programs, and print ads.

Email Template

MNML also created an email template for the Gold Coast Fashion Show team to ensure the brand stayed consistent across communication channels.
